Dr. Ericka Watson is a daughter, mother, educator, advocate for individuals with disabilities, sister, friend, author, and Christian. Dr. Ericka Watson was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Her family relocated to Detroit for better opportunities in the North. Ericka attended school in Detroit and graduated from high school at the prestigious Cass Technical High School. She attended Wayne State University and received her bachelor's, master's, and doctorate. Currently, she serves as special education director in a community outside of Detroit. Ericka is Vice President of the board of Wayne Center which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within Wayne County. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends, and family.
